Tess~
No, I haven't, but by looking over the site briefly it looks like exactly the thing that I would love to read. Thank you!

Her adventures and experiences and wisdom are the kind I hope to have some day. Looking forward to reading more about her and her journey :D

I'll also be looking forward to your post on the oil spill. I like to hear and read about others' perspectives. It makes me think and opens me up to thoughts outside of what my mind grasps.

Thanks again for the website rec! Robin's words are absolutely beautiful and will be a great inspiration I'm sure :)

Hey there Wilma,

The earth IS being violated and it is a sad thing to witness. So many people are blind to it or don't really care (though I believe deep, deep down they must)and I think people who don't value their natural environment are missing out on a lot. I can only hope people will start waking up, but until then I will surround myself with people like you, Tess and so many others in my community who do a lot for the Earth.

Thank you for your motivating words, Wilma :)

Hey Tess!
I totally agree. I think we are definitely being "hit in the head by a 2x4". I wonder if everyone can feel it? I definitely think that we as a society are to blame. It comes down to greed and not wanting to leave our comfort zones.

I feel much better about the situation now that I've had time to sit and think about it. I am only responsible for myself and I do what I can to help out. That's all the people who want to see a change can do~show people little ways to change for the better!

Thanks Tess for your kind words and for promoting the power of personal responsibility! :)

Hear, hear, what can I add to what Tess said. Not much, she is spot on. Everything starts in our own back yard and starting there to honor the earth is great. The earth is being violated in so many ways, and every little things helps even for these huge disasters that at least are waking us up.
Honoring the earth does help, what you do Kristie does help, the earth feels love and will get encouraged to support its own healing by loving acts by me, Tess and you even if it feels that we are not doing enough. You do and the earth is loving you for it, and so do Tess and I, hugs Wilma

Hi Kristie,
Good for you for caring and figuring out how to take action.

Here is my personal opinion. Once again all fingers point at who is responsible and who isn't for the oil spill.

I think everyone of us are...anyone who wastes anything or uses to much of anything. I think the oil spill represents our out of control greed. It can't be contained because obviously collectively or individually enough of us aren't ready.

There are things I can do: Manage my own greed in whatever way, shape or form is shows up.

I can pray for all those involved, the animals and the planet.

I can get involved "hands on."

That's a beginning. There is a saying if we don't get the message the Universe, God or whoever will hit us over the head with a 2 by 4. I think we're being hit over the head and it's time to change.

We're a society out of control in so many ways.
Thanks for being the wonderful person you are. xo
